L3C is a UK privately owned Cloud Migration and Services business formed in 2013. We focus on AIX / Oracle as well as IBM i and Linux and have built a concentrated UK/European team of AIX / Oracle, IBM i and IBM Power expertise.
We support clients globally and work on direct engagements, as a partner to Global System Integrators and provide test/deployment & production platforms for SW vendors.
We are independent and therefore can advise and implement the best AIX / IBM i / Linux solution for your needs. Whether platforms such as Kyndryl Cloud Uplift (Skytap on Azure), IBM PowerVS or by providing an AIX/IBM i private cloud with all data resident in the UK and connectivity to your Azure, AWS & GCP workloads.

2025
Completed migration of leading card issuer and processing platform into IBM PowerVS with secondary location in Skytap on Azure. Completed migration of leading wealth management application to Cloud.
2024
Began major AIX migration and modernisation for leading UK online retailer. Completed migration of over 50 AIX LPARs for UK electricity distribution network operator. Completed IBM i migration for leading insurance company.
2023
Completed IBM i migration and managed service to Skytap on Azure for major US industrial Group. Migrated multiple AIX LPARs to Cloud for world leading consumer good brand. Completed AIX migration to Cloud for leading UK unitary authority.
2022
Completed IBM i migration and managed service to Skytap on Azure for major logistics company. Migrated IBM i data and applications to private cloud for major Italian print company.
2021
Refocused to provide migration and managed services on Cloud platforms such as IBM PowerVS and Skytap on Azure. Completed migration and managed service for major international payroll provider on IBM Cloud.
2018 - 2020
Built an AIX & Solaris test platform across multiple OS versions for a major Dutch software company for testing and development purposes, cutting development time and cost.
2015 - 2017
Key personnel who are still with us today joined with Jerry Crossfield and Ivo Nikolov as CEO/CTO respectively. Completed a major migration of a critical AIX, Oracle & Progress environment into private cloud infrastructure for a global security company.
2013 - 2014
L3C was founded and built our initial Linux cloud infrastructure in our UK data centre.
